Great-horned owls
I have located seven Great-horned owl nests this spring so far. They sit on those nests through snow, wind, rain and sunny weather. What a dedicated bunch.
They are wonderful!! We have burrowing owls around here and it's kind of hard to believe these two are even related. Haven't seen a great horned owl for years. Thanks for the beautiful pictures and the memories.
I want to be where you are ... Seven nests, that is amazing. I look forward to more pictures in the future. And, the eagle shot is spectacular. I am very impressed.
